What is Moblish?
Journalists in the field today have to tweet, shoot video, take photos and record interviews. Everything has changed since the days of videotape and typewriters. Digital has transformed how we do our jobs, and now we’re entering the Mobile Age.
Live blogging on smartphones and tablets is the fastest way to get information to our readers, listeners and viewers. But we need a mobile-first application to support real-time reporting.
Eric Ortiz has developed Moblish – a mobile-first publishing platform for professional and citizen journalists that streamlines multimedia storytelling and crowdsourcing news. The tool can help any size media organization, from large to local, including Spanish-language outlets and freelancers, inform and engage communities.
You can vote once per browser (Safari, Chrome, Firebox, etc.) per device (laptop, desktop, iPhone, etc.) per location (home, office, etc.). Voting closes Friday, Nov. 29, at midnight PT. Please also share the voting link on your social networks and encourage friends, family and followers to vote for Moblish! We appreciate the support. Thanks.
