This past weekend the UFC Fan Expo was a truly remarkable experience. MMA is clearly on the rise and all the fans in attendance are a direct result of its growth and success.
As you can imagine, one of the biggest struggles of any high level athlete is having enough time in a day to connect with their fans. Ronda had a jammed packed weekend of meeting her fans, signing autographs and taking pictures.
Check out the Q & A session from Saturday’s event.
Ronda, how or where do you do you find the strength to push forward and out of adversity?
You want to know how I did it? This is how I did it. I never saved anything for the swim back.Ronda’s reply referencing a quote from the movie Gattaca.
Unlike most sports superstars, MMA stars are on the clock 24/7 as proven when we saw Nick Diaz leaving the Mandalay Bay hotel at 12:30am and he was still doing autographs and pictures while walking through the casino. The same happened to Ronda when she was checking in at the Mandalay Bay front desk after just leaving a signing party. Their level of commitment to the sport and to the fans is on a whole new level compared to most.
For those of you that didn’t get a chance to meet Ronda, get an autograph, or get a picture, we have a chance for you to win some authentic Ronda Rousey autographed gear coming up soon. Check back soon for more details!
